DJI Spark leaked – FPV Racer

The latest DJI drone the DJI Spark has been leaked. The drone will be even smaller than a mavic pro and will be oriented towards FPV racing. Everything we know about the leaked DJI Spark is available below. DJI Spark Features We expect the following features on the DJI Spark: Compact size, yet arms will not be foldable. Foldable propellers Contacts on the bottom of the body will allow charging without removing the battery 15 minute flight time 2 axis gimbal What do these specs mean? The DJI Spark is a bit different from the other offerings from DJI currently. Other drones primary focus in the consumer spaces are aerial video/photography. The Spark will be the first drone in this FPV racing space from the Phantom creator. An FPV racer of course doesn’t need a 3 axis gimbal as you want to see the exact attitude that the drone is in on your display or goggles. Interestingly we have been waiting for the official release of the DJI goggles which we have seen before. The Chrystal branded Displays may also see a release date near the Spark and Goggles. DJI Spark Release Date We expect a release in 2017. The Spark may be out in the next few months.   stay tuned as we update this article. Don’t miss out on drone news such as this! New DJI Inspire 2 Black leaked & other products

A new DJI Inspire 2 Black has been leaked! DJI is attending the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. They left us with the image below teasing with a new Inspire 2 Black. The conference starts on the 27th (next week), stay tuned for updates on this rumored Inspire 2 Black and other products!   Inspire 2 Pro Black One realistic possibility, based on the image above, is a new Inspire 2 Pro Black Edition. If we compare the Inspire 2 motor to the image above we see similarities.   (Inspire 2 vs leaked image of rumored Inspire 2 Black) Top and bottom motor cooling slots appear to be identical Status Indicator LED appears to be the same size without the gray dual colored finish Another Difference: The propeller doesn’t seem to feature a quick-release connection as featured on the Inspire 2 The Inspire 1 Black was released 4 months after the X5 camera was announced. This timeframe could fit for an Inspire 2 Black release. One could argue that the area just below the LED appears to be different, but this could just be a difference of the angle that the photographs were taken.   A new Matrice Drone? The change to the quick-release prop adapter is a larger difference and may be a reason that rumors of a new Matrice Platform could adopt the Inspire 2 style motors. The Matrice 100 features propellers similar to the ones in the leaked image. A new drone such as a new Matrice would be more exciting than just an Inspire 2 black but let’s see what will be announced.   A complete FPV Racer? DJI just posted a new video showcasing their FPV Racing technology “Snail“, the Takyon ESC’s and new racing propellers. Perhaps we will see a complete Drone being launched showcasing this new platform!   Don’t forget the Mobile World Congress starts next week, sign up to our newsletter below to not miss out on any...

The Mavic Pro will feature full-range Lightbridge as we know it on the Phantom 4. There may be further limitations to the Mavic S such as Camera Resolution, but the main thing currently is pointing to the technology used in the remote control. DJI Wind 1 – DJI’s New Industrial Drone Leaked

DJI’s new industrial drone is the DJI Wind 1. In a recent leak, images of the Wind 1 appeared along with a few of its Specs. It is rumored to be officially announced September 2nd-7th during the IFA in Berlin. The Wind 1 name may be an internal codename. We could see it releasing under the Mxx Product Line or getting it’s own such as the Agras MG-1. Stay tuned as this page is being updated as more information becomes available. Here’s what we know about the DJI Wind 1: DJI Wind 1 – Industrial Drone that is rumored to be Rainproof (more on that later…we aren’t sold yet) “Windproof “- Max Wind Resistance 12 m/s (26.84mph / 43.2 km/h) Size – 740mm Diagonal from Motor to Motor Dimension – 582mm (L) x 582mm (W) x 280mm (H) Operating Temperature: -10°C to +50°C Weight (with TB47D Battery x 2) 4040 grams Weight (with TB48D Battery x2) 4225 grams Max Takeoff Weight: 6000 grams Max Load Weight (With TB47D x2): 1960 grams Max Load Weight (With TB48D x2): 1735 grams Hover Accuracy (GPS Mode) Vertical: 0.5 m Horizontal: 2.5 m Max Angular Velocity: Pitch-axis: 300°/s Yaw-axis: 150°/s Max Pitch Angle 35° Max Ascent Speed: 5 m/s Max Descent Speed: 4 m/s Max Wind Resistance: 12 m/s Max Flight Speed 22 m/s (in ATTI mode, no payload, no wind) 17 m/s (in GPS mode, no payload, no wind) Flight Times: Hover Time (with TB48D Battery x2) 38 minutes Hover Time (with TB48D Battery x2 + Zenmuse X3) 31 minutes Hover Time (with TB48D Battery x2 + Zenmuse Z3) 31 minutes Hover Time (with TB48D Battery x2 + Zenmuse XT) 31 minutes Propulsion System: Customized E1200 Motors The Wind 1 is aimed at commercial customers with the rumored launch price of €9,950. This price will include two batteries and the Pelican style hardcase.   The new Wind 1 features the same integrated centrifugal cooling system as the Agras MG-1. This means that air enters the front of the drone through the black grill, where then dust and particulate matter are filtered out. Next, the air flows through the carbon fiber arms and dissipates through the motors. This allows the internal components and motors to be cooled much better than on traditional systems and extends the life of motors up to three times.     While the Shell in the first pictures may be rainproof, we habe our doubts of the above pictured configuration will be rainproof. It shows a cutout for a CAN-Bus expansion port and four mounting pins sitting on top of the body shell of the Wind 1. At the top of the image, you can see...
